Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting for a full time Pulmonary Manager. This position will float to SNGH, SLH and SPAH.
The Manager of the Pulmonary Diagnostic Department will develop, implement, and coordinate all administrative and patient care activities. Will be responsible & accountable for daily operations on a twenty‑four hour basis, seven days a week. Will serve as a mentor by modeling a professional practice consistent with organizational goals, customer service, clinical effectiveness, and standards of care. Will also monitor compliance to regulatory standards, unit capital budget and operating budget.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university & Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Therapy or equivalent training
-3 years recent supervisory or departmental management experience in respiratory field.
-RCP licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Nationally credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Therapists
