Additional Comments:
Acute PTs and OTs treat patients that are currently hospitalized in an acute hospital setting. Normally, post neurological, cardiac and/or orthopedic surgeries. The PTs and OTs will travel from their offices to the patient rooms. Patients are normally in ICU, Neuroscience Units, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Telemetry, Medical/Surgical Units, or Medical/Oncology units.
Both Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals are CARF accredited and possess seasoned therapy staff that could easily help precept a new grad. We prefer experience, but are definitely open to new grads.
