Girling Health Care's Home Health division is currently seeking a Fee For Service Physical Therapist Assistant in San Antonio, TX!
Provides care in accordance with physician orders, physical therapist direction, the patient's condition, accepted standards of practice and Agency policies, procedures, and processes. Identifies changes in the patient's condition, consults with the PT, and implements appropriate interventions as directed by the PT. Utilizes appropriate infection control techniques. Instructs patient, family and/or care giver in all aspects of patient care. Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) activities as requested.
Qualifications:
* Free from Medicare Sanctions (required)
* Current PTA License (required)
* Current CPR certification (required)
* Adequate means of transportation to facilitate timely visits (required)
* Minimum of 12 months experience as a PTA with Home Health experience (preferred)
* Ability to work under supervision
